the tiny little bakery (or as Indonesians say: jajanan kue pasar) shop only a few steps away from my nest! :D

cassettes used as decoration (and lovely Janis too <3),

finding random things at secondhand street shops,

picnic at the park with these gorgeous people,

the writing on the back of people's shirt,

especially the writing on Ika Vantiani's shirt! (it says "I have it, money can't buy it, power can't destroy it, and you can't take it away")

and sitting inside Iron Maiden's shuttle bus! ;)

Goodbye Wijaya.

Tonight is my last night staying in my room at Wijaya. And I'm feeling rather sentimental.

I'm going to miss this room,

with all its messyness...

and I'm for sure going to miss Lona's companion too.

This is my side of the bed. Thank you for being such a comfy nest for the last one whole year, dear room.

I'm even going to miss the cupboard!

The laughs, the tears.

We've had some really good memories in here.

Random thought that occured after a conversation about religions last night with a friend.

If you ask me what my religion is, those three mantras up there will be the answer. Well, that and Bob Dylan. You definitely can learn how to live just by listening to the words he wrote, it's true! 

Anyway, you don't have to try and put me into a box. I am not made to be defined by a label on a box. You don't need to worry about my relationship with the holy one up there, we've got enough matters to worry about right before our eyes, all around us. So let's do something about that first, shall we? :)

All Access Pass

Congratulations to Asra for his first (of many more, I'm sure) book launch! The book is titled All Access Pass, filled with numerous photographs of local musicians on stage. 

The music! The lights! The screaming fans!

Me myself have always enjoyed watching live music performances, even sometimes, dare I say it... embarrassing myself by participating in photographing the action going on the stage. But of course it's nothing compared to Asra's photographs, a veteran of stage photographer. Here are some of my favourite photographs from the book:
